Tranquility, a state of being calm.
Our stay at Tranquility Beach was tranquil. My mind, heart and soul were at peace for our entire stay.
From the moment you drive onto the property at Tranquility Beach Resort, it is evident that staff are committed to ensuring your stay is tranquil. Three members of staff were waiting at the front of the property to greet my family of five with warm smiles, cold towels and refreshing delicious drinks – rum punch for the adults and fruit punch for the children.
This small, considerate act of service immediately put us at ease and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Two of the staff members delivered our bags while another shared the amenities and services available both in our stylish penthouse suite and on the property. The fridge stocked with complimentary beer, soda, and water for our first day was thoughtful. What stood out most was the friendliness of staff and how every staff member reiterated that they were available if we needed anything at all.
The three-bedroom penthouse suite located on the third floor of the third building is spacious, beautiful, and child and family-friendly. Each bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom with double sinks and a rainfall shower (which I love). There is a half-bath, ideal if you have guests.
Each family member enjoyed quiet time alone during our stay (the adults did not worry about what the children were doing) and yet there was plenty of space for us to gather as a family.
One of my favorite spaces was the full verandah with comfortable seating options. While the outdoor hot tub was soothing and delightful, it was the view of stunning Meads Bay which drew me outside to spend time with my family, eat meals and simply breathe and reflect.
A full kitchen with every appliance and gadget we could need allowed us to prepare breakfast daily. The fresh pastries delivered to our door on our first morning were a delicious surprise. It was also nice to have the option to walk along the beach to one of the nearby fantastic restaurants for a delicious lunch or dinner.
Tranquility Beach Anguilla is steps away from stunning Meads Bay so of course we strolled to the beach, soaked in the warm water, relaxed under the provided umbrellas, used the beach toys, and ordered some more delicious drinks from the friendly beach attendant.
On our final day, we did not want to say goodbye but before we left, we did all our laundry as there is a washer and dryer provided in the Penthouse. Going home with clean clothes made leaving just a tiny bit easier.
We all miss Tranquility Beach Anguilla and the staff who made us feel like we were in the comfort of our own home but provided us with the amazing experience of a chic villa or boutique resort.
