Fun Activities in Anguilla
Hi everyone 🙂
The first 12 days in June have flown by. There were many fun activities in Anguilla this month and we had a great time attending some of them. Don’t just take our word for it though. Here is a look back, in pictures, at what we did in the last 12 days. Do not forget to keep in touch with us and to like our Facebook page for more great pictures.
Dancing with the Stars, Anguilla – From Within Dance Company
It was a fun night out. Congrats to Team purple Adonijah and Phaedre , the winners of this competition. You did a fantastic job! Congrats also to Amber of From Within Dance and the rest of the team who put so much time and effort into making this fun competition a success.
Sherise’s Birthday at Dad’s Bar and Grill, Anguilla
Sherise turned 25! She had a great time at Dad’s Bar and Grill with her friends. Eating out is one of the many fun activities in Anguilla. Can you tell? The beautiful backdrop of Sandy Ground is a bonus :).
A Hair Affair Cocktail Reception at Flavours Restaurant, Anguilla
The weekend of events for ‘The Hair Affair – Beauty Hair and Fashion Expo’ was hosted by Tahiry Jose from Love and Hip Hop New York. The cocktail reception was the first of many great nights leading to a ‘hair-raising’ fun-filled weekend!
A Hair Affair Beauty Expo, Anguilla
Rebecca Webster is the lady and inspiration behind A Hair Affair – Beauty, Hair and Fashion Expo. As she said so eloquently ‘ The Hair affair is about more than hair. It is about Anguilla. It is about culture, talent, fashion….’ So many talented persons showcased their skills at this event. Shout out to Janay Raymond of Feelo’je and Keria Hughes of KK Designs for some of the beautiful designs that rocked the runway. The show would not have been a success without the hairdressers from Unbeweavable Divas and those from overseas, the makeup artists and of course all the invited guests who taught the seminars.
I didn’t get much pictures that night but I had to capture Rebecca’s expression as she prepared for the Big Chop :). Would The Hair Affair fall under the category fun activities in Anguilla? Definitely.
Welches Fest, Anguilla
I enjoyed my Johnny cakes and tamarind jam from the Welches Fest. Hundreds of persons came out to see the production of an ‘Old Time Wedding’ and this was definitely the highlight of the Welches Fest 2014.
