It is more than an Anguilla phone book
Have you collected your new phone book? If you did, you too have been invaded by a taste of the beach. The content for Anguilla’s phone book is standard but the cover of the phone book makes it memorable.
I loved the picture on the 2012-2013 Anguilla phone book cover. Every time I looked at it I thought about my adventure going turtle watching with the Anguilla National Trust and about the importance of conserving Anguilla’s sea turtles. I hope the significance of the cover was grasped by each of us.
For further information on conserving Anguilla’s sea turtles do visit the Anguilla National Trust.
For the 2013-2014 year, LIME had a Face Book competition to determine which picture would be placed on the front cover of the phone book. Please see the winning entry below from Derrys Richardson of Signature Studios.
This is a beautiful image capturing the innocence of youth and the pure joy that traditionally Anguillians and visitors have always experienced while enjoying a day at the beach.
My wish is that whenever you glance at your Anguilla phone book whether sitting at your desk at work or relaxing at home, that you will think about and act on the desire to go and enjoy any of Anguilla’s beaches. Each of our 33 beaches boasts turquoise blue crystal waters and powder white sand. We have been truly blessed to live year round in Anguilla.
Go to the beach! You know you want to! Have fun!
