Celebrating a Birthday in Anguilla
I have celebrated 26 of my soon to be 31 birthdays in Anguilla and each celebration has been special. I have spent time at the beach, dined at some of Anguilla’s lovely restaurants or just chilled with family and friends.
I have learned over the years that our birthdays are something to be embraced. Living another year is a true blessing and a gift from God. I am thankful for birthdays past and look forward to many more birthdays in the future. Here is a look back in pictures of my last six birthday outings including two years when I was off island. It is fun to look at ways I may have changed or friends may have changed. I think Anguilla is a wonderful place to celebrate your birthday.
My 25th Birthday
I remember most of my friends were going home or traveling for Easter holidays so we celebrated my birthday early. Below are two girls I befriended when making a spur of the moment decision to join a school trip to Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. My actual birthday was on the return trip to England and they celebrated with me the following day.
My 26th Birthday
I celebrated with close to 20 friends and family members on that night with a dinner at Smokey’s restaurant. The celebrations continued at Elvis. It was awesome.
My 27th Birthday
I was in Jamaica for Saran’s wedding for this birthday which was a lot of fun. When I got back to Anguilla I celebrated with friends at Mango’s restaurant.
