Sol Petroleum continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact across the Caribbean through its deep commitment to community development and social responsibility. One of Sol Petroleum’s key initiatives is the Sol/Parkland Pledge. Each year, Sol Group selects charitable organizations that are actively working to make a positive difference. The pledge represents an ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting the communities it serves.
Supporting Local Changemakers in 2025
For 2025, Sol Petroleum Anguilla will support three local organizations dedicated to improving
lives through health services and elderly care, community projects, and youth development:
Healing Hands – $1,200 USD
Anguilla Enhancement Project – $1,000 USD
De Youngsters Football Team – $1,000 USD
These contributions will help provide access to healthcare, empower young athletes, and enhance community initiatives that improve the quality of life across the island.
Dexter Ward, Country Manager for Sol Petroleum Anguilla, shared his pride in the program:
“The Annual Sol Parkland Pledge is one of my favorite times of the year from a professional
standpoint. I am proud to work for a company that champions initiatives like this, which truly
make a difference. The Anguilla community continues to show tremendous support for the Sol
brand, and all we try to do is return the favor by being a good corporate citizen.”
Five Years of Giving Back
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Sol/Parkland Pledge in Anguilla. Past beneficiaries
have included the Rotary Club of Anguilla, Anguilla Red Cross, Department of Youth and
Culture, Anguilla Diabetes Association, Department of Natural Resources, Anguilla Cancer
Society, Department of Social Development, and the Lions Club. The program has become a
staple of Sol Petroleum’s broader community engagement efforts, reflecting its belief in the
importance of giving back.
In addition to the annual pledge, Sol Petroleum continues to give back year-round through school sponsorships, community events, and donations, including the provision of 100lb gas cylinders to families and organizations.
As Sol Petroleum looks to the future, the company remains devoted to nurturing meaningful
partnerships and continuing to support the growth and well-being of the Anguillian community.
